Teef

This morning a diner sign reads:

"You ain't need no teef to eat our beef."

Right Turning and U-Turns

An interesting thing here is that one can turn right at a red traffic light (if there is no oncoming traffic).

Also, U-Turns are the norm, even at most intersections. There are established rules regarding this.

This already makes traffic much more efficient.

On the other hard, pedestrians (really) have right of way... it's not just the law. (But they may ony cross on intersections and X-ings.)
